Deathwish Skateboard Decks & Apparel
The brainchild of Baker Boys Distribution masterminds Erik Ellington and Jim Greco, Deathwish Skateboards exploded onto the scene in 2008 with a defiant, raw aesthetic that perfectly captured the post-millennial skate ethos. It is a brand built on the kind of reckless abandon and stylish grime that defined the Baker era, but dialed up to 11. Deathwish wasn't just another company; it was a cultural gut-punch. The brand’s very name and classic "Gang" logo were directly inspired by the cult vigilante film series Death Wish, setting an uncompromising tone from day one. They cemented their status with seminal videos like The Deathwish Video (2013) and Uncrossed (2018), showcasing a roster of certified lunatics who embodied the brand's mission. Team riders like Jon Dickson, Jamie Foy, Jake Hayes, and Neen Williams have continued to push a visceral, high-impact style of skating that demands decks built to take a beating; and they deliver. From the consistent use of heavy, graphic-forward artwork to the aggressive line of Deathwish apparel, the brand remains the go-to for skaters who prioritize heart and speed over finesse.
