Skateboard & Cruiser Decks
Today’s street decks are mostly 7-ply North American maple with press-specific concaves and a handful of directional shapes. Widths 8.0–8.5 sit in the middle for most skaters, while shaped and wider outlines cover transition and all-terrain setups. The lineage runs from late-’80s directional boards to ’90s popsicle standardization, with brands constantly refining molds and layups. If you’re browsing graphics and presses, the safe move is the width that matches your stance and terrain, then the brand whose videos you actually watch. Zero, Toy Machine, and Welcome all keep classic shapes and graphics in rotation, which makes setup decisions easier. Decks due to shipping coast can no be returned unless we at amateur athlete have sent the wrong product. This means if you did not get the color stain, you bought it at night but in the morning you regret it and so one.
