Shipping Policy for Amateur Athlete Skate Shop

Thank you for shopping with Amateur Athlete Skate Shop! Below are the details of our shipping policy to ensure a smooth and reliable delivery experience.

Domestic Shipping

  • Order Processing: All orders placed by 3:30 PM EST will ship out the same day. Orders placed after this time will be processed and shipped the next business day.

  • Shipping Options: We offer a variety of shipping services to meet your needs. At checkout, you can select the service that works best for you from the available options.

  • Skateboard Shipping: Skateboards cannot be shipped to PO boxes due to increased shipping costs. If shipping to a PO box is your only option, please contact us at [Colin.amateurathlete@gmail.com/610-866-0114] to arrange for delivery with an additional charge.

  • Free Shipping: Orders that qualify for free shipping will be shipped via the most cost-effective service available. If you prefer a faster shipping service, you can choose to pay for an expedited option at checkout, even if your order qualifies for free shipping.

Vans Footwear Shipping Restrictions

  • Vans footwear can only be shipped within the United States. Orders containing Vans footwear with international shipping addresses will not process or be able to complete checkout.

When using codes Free Shipping will deactivate in most cases!!! do your due diligence and see what deal is the best for yourself.

International Shipping

  • We are happy to offer international shipping for most items. Please note that Vans footwear cannot be shipped outside the United States. Orders placed with restricted items will be canceled.

  • Duties will be paid by the purchaser. We arrange the most simple arrangement to be paid to shipping company at delivery.

Refund & Return policy

 

Refund and Return Policy

General Return Policy.

At Amateur Athlete Skate Shop, we offer a 30-day return policy. This means you have 14 days from the date of receiving your item to initiate a return request. All sale items cant be returned but only exchanged for different items. No refunds on sale items. Which includes items and purchases that use a savings codes and or sales.

For orders exceeding $125, a $10 processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount to cover payment processing fees.

Any type of jewelry can not be returned.

For Canceled orders over $250 we pass along the processing fee that the financial institution pass along to the business.

Please Note: Pre-ordered items are final sale and cannot be canceled, refunded, or exchanged under any circumstances.

Eligibility for Returns.

To qualify for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • The item is in its original condition: unworn, unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Can not have any wear, scent, or imperfections.

  • A valid receipt or proof of purchase is provided.

  • Original shipping charges can not be refunded.

Additional fees for returns:

  • A $5 restocking fee will be deducted from the refund amount.

  • Orders containing two or more items will incur a $10 restocking and packaging fee.

How to Start a Return.

To initiate a return, please contact us at colin.amateurathlete@gmail.com. Once your return is approved, we will provide you with a return shipping label and detailed instructions on how to send your package.

Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damaged or Defective Items

Please inspect your order upon receipt. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate and resolve the issue. For damages incurred during transit, we recommend contacting the shipping service used for your order.

Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items.

  • Sale Items: Sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or refunded.

  • Skateboard Decks: Decks that have been removed from their original plastic wrapping cannot be returned.

  • Clothing & Footwear: Items showing signs of wear, including animal hair or odors, will not be eligible for a refund and will be returned to the purchaser.

  • Gift Cards: Gift cards are non-refundable.

Exchanges.

If you wish to exchange an item, the quickest way is to initiate a return for the unwanted item. Once the return is approved, you can place a new order for the desired item.

Refund Process:

All sale and discount items are final sale, returns are not accepted on these items.

We will notify you once your returned item has been received and inspected. If the return is approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please note that it may take some time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund.

Refunds are subject to a processing fee based on the payment method used for your order. Details of the processing fee will be communicated during the refund process.
