• The Holiday Apparel and Deck line up is a great mix of that classic graphic story line with a new twist. The Dressen Sumo Dog graphic is a new graphic for pro Eric Dressen who has a long storied career with Santa Cruz. The Dressen Sumo Dog deck's art is drawn by @makoyamaki, Makoto Yamaki is a Japanese artist and skateboarder whose work reflects a fusion of traditional Japanese aesthetics and modern skate culture. Originally from Saitama Prefecture, Japan, Yamaki started skating in his youth, which eventually influenced his art.
  
   He has collaborated extensively with skate brands, most notably Santa Cruz Skateboards, where his detailed, hand-drawn designs have been featured on skateboard decks. Eric Dressen is known to love Japans culture and has been a huge motivator in keeping Eric on the skateboard. The new Sumo Dog shaped skateboard deck graphic combines Eric Dresden's love for Japan and a play on classic Dressen pup skateboard deck with a fusion of @makoyamaki's Japanese art. Another Artist that has Artwork on the New Santa Cruz Skateboard decks this holiday season in @tallboy666 Chris Colborn who has done many Santa Cruz skateboard graphic and is known for punk influences, and bold, graphic linework. His graphics invoke fantasy and can been seen in the Santa Cruz Winkowski Dope Planet graphic. The Winkowski Dope Planet deck has a fantasy scene of cosmic outer space.
